Family Time

Firstly, thank you to each of you who have intentionally connected with us, prayed for us, and sacrificed financially so that we can be here in PNG. You are each being used by God to bring Jesus to the Konomala people.
It’s all worth it!

The girls are doing great.
Natalie keeps growing up so stinkin’ fast. She still loves helping mommy with everything. She loves pretending, playing house, and playing doctor. She always wants to read, draw, or play something with daddy.

Lauren is totally keeping up with the older kids now. She runs around and wants to be part of everything that’s going on. She loves eating, throwing balls, and walking around outside. She has a hard time without mommy, and she loves her having both her pacifiers at the same time.

They both love love love James and Noah. Lauren has a very special connection with Aunt Ellenie too.

Kaitlyn is doing well … she’s been sick a bit more lately though. On top of the normal pesky colds and flus, she’s had a couple fights with stomach bugs. The girls have gotten hit with some sickness as well.

While we were in Akolet, Kaitlyn got to spend a lot of extra time working on studying Pidgin. She did awesome and sounds great in the language.

PLEASE PRAY

That we would be proactive as a couple and in the lives of our kids. It’s really hard to choose to faithfully love and disciple. It’s not natural at all and life is overwhelming a lot of days.

That we would love Luke & Ellenie and their kids well. Satan does not want the Konomala to be freed, and one way to see that happen is to fracture our team.

That we would stay healthy. Or at least have good attitudes and perspectives in the middle of sickness.

  1. Happy New Year to you and your team. Sounds like 2019 will be another exciting, hard, and hopeful as you begin building relationships and homes. Bob and I will be praying for all the specific requests you listed. You make a great team and I’m sure learning tons about leaning in on God. Your girls are so sweet. We love you all!

  4. Hey Seth and Kaitlyn,
It’s so good to read your update and hear about all that God is doing in your lives and as you prepare to move into the tribe. What a joy to hear that those doors are opening and that you’re going in for your first building trip soon. I do pray for good health and unity and peace in your hearts as you forge ahead into so many unknowns, but praise God for your willingness to go to a place where people have never heard the truth about Him. We love you guys! Good to hear from you 😊
    Love, Aunt Esther
